Bishop appeared to get the ball while in the air, but Worthy managed to wrap his arm around it as they fell to the ground.

Officials ruled Worthy had completed the catch, and it was a Chiefs ball rather than a Bills interception. Buffalo was also called for a penalty, so it was unlikely the ball would come back to them.
Bills coach Sean McDermott challenged whether this was a completed catch. Replays appeared to show the tip of the ball hitting the ground. But still, the play was ruled a catch.

NFL fans were quick to point out that the questionable call went in favor of the Chiefs.

“I don't feel that way,” he said. “…I'm just trying to play football at the end of the day. The referees are doing their best to call the game as fair and proper as possible.
