Former New York Governor Andrew Como A new democratic competitor faces his attempt to replace Eric Adams as the mayor of New York City, according to reports.
The New York City Council Chairman Adrian Adams, 64, will officially launch her campaign with a gathering during the weekend, for all reports of Fox 5 NYC.
With the democratic preliminary elections, only four months away, Adams is expected to immediately submit to secure access to the poll.
In a statement to the media, Adams said that New York residents could not live in the city, and that the city hall was “in a state of chaos”, and he claimed that President Donald Trump was.Corrupting the independence of our city”

“It is time to stand. I have never planned to run for the mayor, but I don't give up on New York City,” Adams said in the statement.
Adams was elected for the first time in the city council in 2017, becoming the first speaker in the Black Council after five years.

Adams is the latest high -level figure to throw her hat in the ring, as the first candidate, former New York Governor Andrew Como, challenged the mayor of New York City besieged Eric Adams.
Komo resigned in 2021 after a report issued by the State Prosecutor concluded that he was subjected to sexual harassment for nearly ten women.

Komo apologized for the “abuse” of women who told women who said it was aimed at collectively, and he admitted that sometimes he was “very familiar” with people, but he denied that someone touched inappropriately and said that the investigation of his behavior was defective and political motives.

The race comes yet Mayor Eric Adams He was accused in September of federal corruption. He is now dealing with a temporary criticism after he asked the newly installed Ministry of Justice leaders to drop the case, so Adams can help the federal government migration campaign.
