I'm focused At MacBook Air since 2012, when I bought my first money I saved from a Tag -Right job before my first college semester. (You can read more about that journey Here.) Like someone who always works on go, I always get caught up in how light it is. When Apple returned it in 2022 with a new design, larger and brighter displays, Magsafe support, and a 1080p webcam, I was thrilled – this was my dream MacBook that lived.
But as I said in The review in the past yearThe 13-inch MacBook Air reached its climax in terms of design. Apple continues to release the same model while mainly focusing on internals – and the same logic applies to this latest version. Standout features are the M4 chip (the entry-level chip of the lineup) and double the base memory (also available in its predecessor). Apple has thrown an updated 12-megapixel webcam and a new choice of blue color, but in addition, the chassis remains the same.
Usually, when an next -generation model does not have any major additions, Apple retains the price similar to previous versions. At this time, however, the price sees a reduction of welcome to $ 999 – $ 100 less than its previous ones. This is what Macbook Air costs before the launch of the M2 model (Apple sold the M2-Powered Macbook Air for $ 999 once the M3 Air came out, but M4 replaced both models). So, this means the maximum adjustment costs $ 2,199.
Although there are still some additional things I have on my wish list for this next gen (a glass-text-texture option), the MacBook Air with M4 continues to live up to its reputation as a reliable, lightweight machine and the Best MacBook For most people. The fact that this is as reached as usual is the cherry above.

Mild changes
As with previous generations, the 13-inch MacBook Air has a square chassis, a large and bright 13.6-inch LCD panel (complete with a 60-hz refreshing rate), a four-speakers sound system, and a three-mic array. When it comes to 2.7 pounds, it also remains very lightweight and comfortable to commute. You will also get the same port selection, which includes two USB 4/Thunderbolt ports, a Magafe charging port, and a 3.5-mm headphone jack.
I fully understand that a wide port selection is usually reserved for the MacBook Pro, but I really want to add Apple at least one Extra USB-C ports here-especially since you can connect MacBook Air to two external monitors (we get later). Instead, you need to use a chunky USB-C hub, which is another accessory you need to buy (if you don't have one) and bring around.
