Jack Texira, a member of the National Guard at Massachusetts, convicted of leaking very secret documents on the war in Ukraine, used the military court on Thursday to describe himself as a “proud national” who was trying to expose the supposed “lies” of Biden Administration.
After adopting guilt on military charges to obstruct justice, the 23 -year -old acknowledged that he knew that his actions were illegal, but he felt that he needed to share the truth about how he was managed, in his opinion, on the misleading of the American public about War in Ukraine.
“If I saved even American, Russian, or Ukrainian life against this meaningless war, my punishment was worth it,” he said, adding that he is “comfortable with how to remember history for my actions.”
Teixeira drew similarities with President Donald Trump, claiming that he was also a victim of the weapon of the Ministry of Justice. He called on the Trump administration to “review my double prosecution and sanctions with attention to the opposite of the actions of the deep countries and show the truth, regardless of the embarrassment of the Biden administration.”

TEIXEira was sentenced last year to 15 years in prison after adopting guilt in the Federal Court on six charges represented in deliberate retention and transfer of national defense information under the espionage law after his arrest to exchange classified documents in the dispute chat room.
Leaks that were subjected to secret assessments that are not connected to the Russian war in Ukraine, including information about the movements of the forces in Ukraine, and the provision of supplies and equipment for the Ukrainian forces. The documents also revealed assessments of the defense capabilities in Taiwan and the internal arguments in Britain, Egypt, Israel, South Korea and Japan. Teixeira also admitted to publishing information about the US discount plans to harm the American forces that serve abroad.

Teixeira, from North Dightton, Massachusetts, worked as an information technology specialist responsible for military communications networks. His lawyer, Teixeira, described as an isolated autism individual who spent most of his time on the Internet, especially with his dispute society, and he never intended to harm the United States

The security violation forced the Biden administration to scramble to try to contain diplomatic and military repercussions. The leaks also embarrassed the Pentagon, which tightened controls to protect the classified information and disciplined organs who have intentionally failed to take the required action regarding the suspicious teixeira behavior.
