The post came to the CEO Zomato Deepinder Goyal, who recently shared the update of the strict recruitment process of the company. According to Goyal, more than 18,000 applications were received, and the interviews were carried out for more than 150 candidates. Of these, 30 people have received offers and 18 have already joined Zomato and its group companies such as Blinkit in what Goyal describes as “roles with a high impact”. Among the new rent detected by Goyal are “founders who bootstrap startups from their dormitory rooms, engineers who rewrote the whole technical piles at the weekend, operators who transformed chaos into a scale, and a handful of brilliant young minds. ”
As for the chief of the crews, Goyal mentioned: “4 out of 18 people who have joined us work directly with me and 2 of them are starring staff. And we weren't done. With 18,000+ applications, we are still carefully going through this amazing talent fund. ”
The CEO Zomato said that Jainees were “cleverly compensated for the value they bring” and that no one has paid anything with them. When Goyal demanded applications, the description stated that no salary would be paid for the selected candidate for the first year, and would actually have to pay RS 20 Lakh for this role. Goyal said one hundred percent of the role fee would be devoted to feeding India. The candidate would only receive his salary at the beginning of the second year, and this is a discussion that they would reserve at the beginning of the 2nd year.
