A prominent Jewish personalities boycotting the event, anti -Semitism, Israel

The prominent figures, including many Jewish leaders, remained out of an international conference on anti -Semitism held in Jerusalem, in protest against the inclusion of politicians from all over Europe related to the extreme right.

Among those who rejected the attendees, the President of Israel and the President of the UK, Sir Ephraim Mervis.

At the conference, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning about the high anti -Semitism.

He said that Europe was at risk of allowing anti -Semitism not to deter it in a similar way to the years before the Nazi Holocaust.

Netanyahu said: “The anti -racist anti -Semitism incites a global war against the existence of the Jews as a race that allows human societies.”

He said: “Today, we issue a similar warning. The fate of free societies is associated with preparing to fight the scourge of anti -Semitism.”

But the inclusion in the case of representatives of the European extremist parties, such as the National Rally in France, and the Spanish Vox and Sweden DemocratsAnd it has proven controversial.

The UK's anti -government adviser, Lord Mann, refused to call him, saying: “There is nothing for the United Kingdom to learn about the treatment of anti -Semitism from some of these personalities.”

His office said in a statement issued last week that the Rabbi Mirfis refused to participate “after he was aware of the presence of a number of advanced right popular politicians.”

The President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, did not attend. His separate event with Jewish leaders hosted instead in what was seen as a compromise.

The conference was organized by Amichai Chikli, Minister of Diaspora Affairs in Israel, and an explicit member of the right Likud party in Netanyahu. Czechini over the past few months has linked relations with extremist right -wing parties throughout Europe.

Early last year, he met the Swedish democratic leader who visited Jerusalem, and was speaking at the Vox conference in Madrid.

Czechini defended the inclusion of right -wing politicians from Europe, saying they faced “lies widespread against them by those who have led the State of Israel all over the world.”

Among those in the conference that caused some panic, was the national president of the body of Barilla, who originally founded Jean -Marie Le Pen, a man accused of anti -Semitism and condemned the denial of the Holocaust.

Jean -Marie was expelled from the party – then he was called patriotism – in 2015 by his naval daughter because of his comments that the Holocaust is “details” of history. But since his death in January, she said she could not “forgive herself” for doing so.

Parilla, 29, spoke of a rising star from the French right – on stage as he admitted the “prominent symbolic importance” of his call to Israel.

While he did not explicitly refer to the past of his party, he pledged to his future under the leadership of Marin Le Pen, who heads the group in Parliament.

He said: “I would like to tell you with all sincerity, through his positions, their proposals and firmly in the face of this threat, is the national gathering, led by Marine Loub, is the best shield for Jews in France.”

He warned, “Islamic is totalitarianism in the twenty -first century.” “He threatens to destroy everything that is unlike this,” he said in the claim that his party often submits that France faces an “Islamic threat.”

Bardela previously visited some of the places where Hamas carried out attacks on October 7, 2023, and the Israel Memorial Institute, Yad Vashem.

The conference was also a reminder of how Israel sees itself being attacked by parts of the international community. The team's discussions on topics, including “addressing the anti -Israel bias in international institutions”, conducted “How does radical Islam spread anti -Semitism in the West?” And “double standards, from the battlefield to the International Criminal Court.”

The International Criminal Court – the International Criminal Court – has issued an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Secretary Yov Gale because of the alleged war crimes against the Palestinians.

This step caused anger throughout Israel, which the International Criminal Court accused itself of motivation for anti -Semitism.
