“Texas expands our operations to help President Donald Trump protect the Americans and enforce the rule of law,” Abbott said on Tuesday. This comes a few days after the Austin Lisa Davis police chief announced that its ministry will not help federal agents in the enforcement of civil immigration.

Austin PD did not respond to the Fox News Digital request to comment on the matter.
