Four people, including the grandparents of Emile Sol, were arrested due to the disappearance and death of two years in the French Alps in July 2023.
Prosecutors said in a statement that the other two persons who were arrested on suspicion of committing the murder and concealing the body of the children of Emile's grandparents.
The ancestral lawyer, Isabelle Colomani, told Agence France -Presse on Tuesday morning that she had no comment, after she just heard “about development.
Last year, some of the bones and clothes of young children were found by a roaming near the home of the ancestors of Al -Mamouli in the French Alps, where the boy lost the previous summer.
But the prosecutors at that time said that the remains that did not provide any other evidence for the cause of Emile's death, adding that it could have been the result of “the fall or murder of the non -murder or killing.”
On Tuesday, Twist, in a case, appeared to be cold, headlines in France, where the media was widely covered. When the child disappeared, dozens of journalists flocked to Haute-Vernet, and often exceeding the population of 25 from the small Alps.
The last vision of Emile was on July 8, 2023, when his neighbors saw him walking himself on the only street in the village.
The police were alerted by his grandmother shortly. Hundreds of people joined the police, dirty dogs and the army in searching the next day.
Initially, French reports focused on Emile's grandfather – but his lawyer said she hoped to “not waste much time on him at the expense of other interrogation lines.”
Emile's remains were found days after the police summoned 17 people – including members of the Emile family, neighbors and witnesses – to rebuild the last moments before the boy disappeared.
The child's funeral was held in February this year. Soon after, his mother grandparents said that “silence has made space for the truth” and that they could no longer “live without answers.”
And they said: “We have passed 19 months without certainty. We need to understand, we need to know him.”
In a statement, the public prosecutor on AIX-EN-PROVINCE Jean-Lucheon said that the arrest of Tuesday was the result of the investigations conducted in recent months, and that the police were studying “several locations in the area.”
The French media reported on Tuesday that the ancestral house was searched in the Provence area and that the police had seized one of their cars.
In France, people can be placed in arrest to interrogate them while the police investigate whether they had been involved in a crime. This does not mean that legal procedures will necessarily begin against it.
