Allianz showed net income per shareholders of EUR 2.4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024 (Q4 2024), an increase of 14.9% of EUR 2.1 billion in the same quarter of the previous year.
The company's operating profit also increased by 10.9% to EUR 4.1 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024 out of EUR 3.7 billion in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Its segment of rental property was a significant contributor to this growth and showed an increase in operating profit 21.2% to EUR 1.9 billion, while the life/health segment recorded by 4.5% to EUR 1.4 billion.
The total volume of business for the quarter reached 45.9 billion euros, a 16% increase from EUR 39.6 billion in the 4th quarter of 2023.
The life/health segment was the “main growth driver” that has seen an increase in the total volume of business by 21.5% to EUR 24.3 billion.
The real estate division showed an increase in this metric by 11% to 19.5 billion euros.
The basic profit per share increased to 6.31 euros from 6 euros in quarter of the quarter.
For the whole year, Allianz reported net income per shareholders of EUR 9.9 billion, a 16.3% increase from EUR 8.5 billion in 2023.
Operating profit per year has reached EUR 16 billion, an increase of 8.7% of EUR 14.7 billion.
The total volume of business per year was EUR 179.8 billion, which is 11.2% increased from EUR 161.7 billion in 2023. The basic profit per share in 2024 increased to EUR 25.42 from EUR 22.61 in 2023.
The Board of Directors proposed a dividend at the share of EUR 15.40 for 2024, which is 11.6% since 2023.
Looking until 2025, Allianz is trying to operate EUR 16 billion Plus or minus EUR 1 billion.
