“Mark Vogel returned !!! The White House wrote on X.

After his arrival in the United States, he met Vogel, from Pennsylvania Donald Trump At the White House, he described him as a hero to secure his release.

“I want you to know that I am not a hero in this at all. President Trump is a hero,” said Vogel after Trump's interview.

“I am in awe of what they all did,” Vogel added.

He said he feels “like the most fortunate man on Earth now.”

Trump's National Security Adviser, Michael Waltz, said that the United States and Russia “negotiated an exchange” to ensure the release of Vogel, although he did not reveal what the United States surrendered. Some of the previous negotiations included the publications of the Russians by the United States or its allies, opposite an American detained.

When the correspondents were asked on Tuesday about whether the United States had abandoned anything against Vogel, Trump replied “not much” without providing additional details.

The Fujel Trump family thanked and others who worked to secure his release.

“We are grateful, comfortable and overwhelmed that after more than three years of detention, our father, our husband and our son Mark Fujel will finally return home,” the family said in a statement.

“Thanks to President Trump's fixed leadership, Mark will soon return to American territory, free to the place he belongs. This period was the darkest and most painful in our lives, but today we start recovery.”
