Apple iPad Air (M3, 2025) Check: A strong tablet that feels anxious

Parang Just yesterday that Apple launched the M2-Powered iPad Air. In fact, it's been 10 months, but it's still a long way off for a new version of my book. But here we are, with a new iPad air – this time with an M3 chip. The tablet delivers a minor performance strengthening compared to its predecessor, but it has features such as beam tracking, mesh shading, and dynamic caching in intensive graphics activities. This is the first for the iPad Air, which makes it the most reachable -a way of advanced capabilities for those who need it -such as creative professionals or players -who do not want to splurge the iPad Pro.

But that is up to the new features will go for the seventh generation iPad Air. Apple has used the same chassis, so you will have a choice between 11-inches and 13-inch display size. While this is a perfect delicate tablet in terms of usability, Apple has failed to address the major critics from last year's model: the density, battery life, and lack of an OLED (or even mini LED) panel. All of these are factors that will help justify an next-generation iPad air as soon as possible.

Reuse and recycle

In my review of M2-Powered iPad Air (8/10, Wired recommended), I described the design as stale compared to the redesigned iPad Pro (6/10 wired review). Now, seeing Apple's recycling of the same chassis as the model of last year, my emotions have not changed. The iPad is already comic Wind is still a few grams heavier and almost a whole millimeter thicker than the iPad pro. The tablet feels light and skinny whatever, but it doesn't notice that its thinner is more expensive – especially when you add accessories to it. And, while Apple did not remove color options at this time (the rose lost last year and the green before that), nor did it add, either. You will have a choice between blue, purple, starlight, and color.

You also have a choice between an 11-inch display or a 13-inch display. Apple sent me the latter, which I prefer because the excess screen real estate makes it more comfortable to use as a second display and watch TV. It is slightly brighter than the smaller model, with 2,732 x 2,048 resolutions (264 ppi) and hits 600 nits of peak shine on the usual dynamic range. It gets a lot bright for most, but you need to increase it with full brightness with direct sunlight. I have to do this while watching a stage of Maintenance of Kardashians In front of the window of my room. Otherwise, I usually keep it a little under 50 percent brightness.

Like last year's tablet, I continue to talk about why Apple is not Nix the LCD panel and replacing it with Mini LED (as seen on iPad Pro From 2021 and 2022), at least the larger model. It seems like a no-brainer for many reasons in addition to the fact that it will allow for a brighter screen).

For starters, it comes together in the architecture of the M3 chip graphics. This iPad will attract many creations that are on the market for a strong tablet (and a large screen). To fully use the processor, it is intended to be used in apps such as Adobe Photoshop or Final Cut Pro – where content editing requires a certain attention to the accuracy of color.
