Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, head of the country's security service, has launched its failure to expect the October 7, 2023 attack by Hamas.
The Israeli Council of Ministers met Thursday evening for the formal approval with the early separation of Ronen Bar, which was appointed in October 2021 for a period of five years as president of a bet.
Netanyahu announced his intention to dismiss Mr. Bar in a video on Sunday, citing the “constant” lack of confidence between the two men, who said he “grew over time.”
The move sparked anger and more anti -government demonstrations in Jerusalem, which witnessed thousands of Israelis linking the demonstrators who oppose Israel's renewed attack on Gaza.
Since Tuesday, Israel has launched an extensive wave of attacks on what he said was Hamas's targets in the Palestinian territories, which put an end to the fragile engineering that was often held for two months.
Shin's bet is the local intelligence agency in Israel and plays a major role in the war. Its activities and membership are the secrets of the relevant state.
Mr. Bar has described the decision to overthrow him as political motives.
Israeli public prosecutor Ghali Baharav Mayra – the voice critic of Netanyahu, who is facing dismissal procedures – argued that Mr. Bar could not be expelled until the legitimacy of this step is evaluated.
A message sent to Netanyahu to his government members before the meeting indicated a “continuous loss of professional and personal confidence” between the Prime Minister and the master, and proposed his term on April 20.
“The loss of professional confidence has been unified during the war, after the operational failure on October 7 (2023), especially in recent months,” she said, referring to Hamas's attacks on Israel that sparked the Israel war.
About 1,200 people were killed and 251 grooves were taken during the attacks. Israel has responded with a huge military attack, killing more than 4,800 Palestinians, says the Hamas -running Ministry of Health.
