Greek gods never seem to have an easy avoidance of things in video games. That's true for Zagreus, the main feature of the Roguelike Action RPG of Supergiant Games' Hades. While the underworld prince is fighting towards his mother Persephone, the Olympian Pantheon helps him fight his father.
There is width and depth of builders who can create Hades, choosing to use different weapons and accept different boons like God in every run. When players successfully complete four separate dungeons – Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium and the Temple of Styx – and defeat the final boss, the game will offer new challenges.
To find out Zagreus's full story, players have to beat Hades several times, talk to the inhabitants of the underworld and master all the game's mechanics and synergies. This is one of the best Roguelike games released, but a caveat for the mobile version: you will need a Netflix subscription to play, which requires a log in to your account to gain access. On the flip side, it's free for those who are signing up with the streaming service.
