Given that plans to expand Indian carriers were affected due to delayed supplies by Boeing, the American airline said on Thursday that this year it will deliver two aircraft a month as part of its agreement with airlines.
Air India and Akasa ordered Boeing aircraft and the delivery was delayed by several months to slow production and last year's strike for a US production unit. Indigo with the largest order of the new level is especially in Airbus.
Boeing will deliver two aircraft per month in 2025 and 2026 and the number will increase 2027, said Ashwin Naida, CEO of Boeing for Commercial Marketing for India and South Asia.
The Boeing Air India order book is huge. There were 50 Boeing 737 Max White-Tails, which were supposed to be delivered by December 2024 and probably extends until June this year. There are also airplanes for line-trees are to be built specifically for Air India-Elí delay.
According to the current outlook of the commercial market Boeing (CMO), India and South Asia will be the commercial fleet of the aircraft in the next 20 years nearly four times and has been building on permanent growth of the fleet over the last decade.
“There will be a demand for 2,835 new aircraft in 20 years driven by Indian carriers requiring about 2550 of them,” he added.
Continued growth will be supported by greater demand and increase in air traffic in the region, which increases more than 7%by 2043 per year, driven by permanent economic growth, improved connectivity and policy that promote air transport liberalization, the largest and fastest growing segment is expected to market, according to CMO.
This expected traffic growth will be allowed by further low -cost expansion of carriers and network diversification, as air companies offer more routes and destinations throughout the region.
Fuel disposable aircraft, such as the max 737, will represent nearly nine out of 10 commercial supplies of commercial beams in the prediction period, giving air companies to more flexibility of the network and a better economy on rapidly growing short and medium routes.
Fleet with a wide region with four times because the carriers use aircraft such as 787 Dreamliner and 777x to further develop long -standing networks, especially from India to North America, where the capacity has doubled over the past decades.
“India and South Asia are still the fastest growing market with commercial air force in the world due to strong economic and commercial growth, growing household income and investment in infrastructure and development,” Naidu said Naidu
CMO also predicts India and Fleet freight fleets in India and South Asia, including new and converted models, five times, as the region extends its role in global supply chains, advanced production and electronic trading.
Demand for pilots, on -board conductors and techniques with four times to 129,000, along with the expansion of a commercial aircraft fleet, which represents the fastest level of growth of any region around the world.
