Details On Alleged Assault Incident With Busta Rhymes' Assistant
according to New York Postpolice claim that his real name is Trevor Smith Jr. who repeatedly punched Busta Rhymes' assistant Dashiel Gables in the face, leaving him with a swollen left eye. TMZ shares that after the attack, Rhymes fled the scene and Gables immediately called the police. Authorities and paramedics responded quickly and Gables was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
On Tuesday, January 14, Busta Rhymes voluntarily surrendered to the NYPD and was reportedly issued an appearance ticket for misdemeanor assault, attempted assault and harassment. A bench appearance ticket means Rhymes must appear in court on a scheduled date to address the charges.
So far, Busta Rhymes has not responded to the allegations and has not commented on the incident.
