While most of the Figeac Capdenac QFC teams are taking advantage of the “confectionery truce”, a certain category of youngsters will be hoping to get their year off to a great start by being in action this weekend!

At regional championship level, the U18 national team will travel to Merville, a suburb of Toulouse, to face Association Save et Garonne on Saturday at 4pm. This late performance gave FCQFC players a chance to solidify their position in the half-time standings. However, it will not be easy to do so at home, especially against an Ogaron team that is on the championship podium after winning every game with the best attack in the group.

The U17 national team will play in the third round of the Occitanie Cup when they visit Prayssac, home of the PPFC/Montcabrier association, on Saturday at 2pm. Due to impassable terrain, the race has been postponed until late 2024.

During the winter months, there will be futsal matches this weekend as well, especially with Figeac's U11 boys (pictured) at the Champollion Gymnasium from 2pm on Saturday. Still in futsal, but on Sunday the FCQFC Women's U15 national team, represented by Chelsea, Léana, Léane, Lola and Mélie, will be selected to participate in the sectional stage of the “Espoirs du Futsal” operation. The meeting begins at 2pm on Sunday at the Bagnac-sur-Célé gym.

For the senior teams, the resumption of the championship will only take place over the weekend of January 11th and 12th, with three very important matches taking place between the teams. The first male team welcomes Grizzol, while team 2 travels to Suyac. , and also includes FCHQ contracts for women.

FCQFC management would like to extend its best wishes to all players, educators, volunteers and families as we move into early 2025!
