Chris Brown has high hopes for Donald Trump's presidency

Recently, The Shade Room caught a message Chris Brown shared on Instagram Stories before he deleted it. The “Sensational” singer shared one of her hopes for Donald Trump as he prepares to officially take over as the 47th president of the United States with an inauguration ceremony set for January 20, 2025.

Breezy added an eye emoji and then asked his Instagram followers and fans: “Anyone else hoping Trump shuts down the IRS?” added, “If he takes it……Put that man on a hundred dollar bill.”

Trump: Will generate “foreign tax revenue”.

While Donnie didn't say he would eliminate taxes, he did reveal plans for a new state agency on Tuesday. according to APhe wants to create a Foreign Revenue Service to collect tariffs and other revenues from foreign countries.

“We're going to start paying those who make money from us through Trade, and they're going to start paying,” Trump said on his Truth Social network on Tuesday.

He compared his planned creation to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). It needs an act of Congress to do that, and Republicans hold majorities in both the House and Senate.

One thing Trump has said loud and clear is his intention to shrink the size of government. However, his proposed new agency would carry out functions already handled by existing agencies. That means potentially job cuts for people who work at agencies like the Commerce Department and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Consider that billionaire Elon Musk and his colleague Vivek Ramaswamy are leading Trump's ambitious efforts to reduce the size and scope of the federal government. It should be noted that tariffs have become the criteria of Trump's economic agenda when starting his second term.
