Denise Austin has been a fitness leader for 40 years, so she knows a thing or two about making New Year's resolutions That stick.

People often take on too much or make their decisions too difficult, and the key is to start small, Austin told Fox News Digital.

“Make it easy for you. It's very difficult for you, if you're going to join a gym, you know, it might take you driving to get there. These are obstacles in your way, so make it easy for you. And that's why I love walking? I love walking.” I think exercising at home makes everyone comfortable.

If you can start with your New Year's resolutions, eat really healthy.” “Get rid of some of these processed foods as much as you can and make your own,” she said.
