US President Donald Trump said he would save another 25 % tariff on the import of steel and aluminum from Canada and escalate his battle with one of the largest US business partners.
“I ordered my secretary to add another 25% tariff, 50%, all steel and aluminum coming to the United States from Canada, one of the highest customs nations anywhere in the world,” Trump wrote on Tuesday on his true social platform.
He added that on Wednesday he would enter the fees.
Trump also said that if Canada did not throw its long -term tariffs, “basically increased” doses of cars coming to the US, the step he said would “basically, permanently closed” the industry of cars.
