Trump On Thursday, an executive was “the return of education, simply, to return to the states to which it belongs.”
“Today, we are taking a historical action that was 45 years old,” Trump said of the decades -long conservative batch to dismantle the administration belonging to the presidency of former President Ronald Reagan.
Trump still needs help in Congress in a plan to cancel the education department
“The numbers do not lie – over the past 45 years, the spending has increased for each student at a time when the completion has decreased,” Nili said. “The current situation has clearly failed to fail American children and did more than just a line of pockets of bureaucrats and activists.”

Education leaders say Trump says dismantling the main government agency “Save Education”
“With this executive, President Trump continues to take steps to fulfill his campaign for education, and now it's time for Congress to send the school selection legislation to his office so that he can fulfill his other hand to the voters,” said Tommy Schultz, CEO of the American Federation for Children.
Schultz Fox News told the digital that when the matter was signed, “Trump dropped a failed bureaucratic machine in the capital, and brought the choice of the school to every state.”

“This is an incredible opportunity to enable parents and communities to assume responsibility for education, rather than allowing Washington Berosatics to make decisions!” The group was written in a post on X.
Before the signing ceremony, the White House referred to the national evaluation of the degrees of educational progress (NAEP) that shows the low test averages among students as an example of an effective department to improve education.
“The Naep (National Educational Progress) grades reveal a national crisis – our children are behind the knees,” Harrison Fields, Deputy Secretary of the White House, told Fox News. “Over the past four years, Democrats have allowed millions of illegal minors to the country, striving school resources and converting focus from American students.”
“Parents and students feel very frustrated by the state of our educational system” and that “the president's use of Naep data in the executive order to highlight the last direction of decreasing mathematics and reading indicates the need to act immediately.”

“The executive is what was largely expected, but it also included an important guidance to continue financing useful programs such as Pell Grants, Title I and IDEA” without interruption. “This is a welcome commitment, but taxpayers must also know what they are getting for their money,” he added. “The recent demobilization operations in the department will follow this commitment as a challenge.”
“The hard work begins between Congress, the Trump administration and the families to determine the best way to serve students,” she said.
While many aspects of the department will be destroyed, the first address will be funded, resources for students with disabilities, and Pell, according to Trump.
