Square Enix, the legendary video game publisher behind the famous Final Fantasy Series, announced Thursday It ends support for the iOS version of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. The company said there was an insurmountable bug that prevented players from accessing the additional content they had purchased, so the company pulled the plug into the game.
“We will not fully fix the bug and implement new changes, which are not likely to continue the service for the game,” the company wrote in a statement. “We should be sorry to announce that we will end support for the iOS version of the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.”
The company said it started receiving customer complaints on January 24, and the game was obtained from Apple's App Store. If you have purchased the game or any additional content for the game since the beginning of 2024, the company said you deserve a refund.
