As top California politicians continue to defend their handling of the devastating and deadly wildfires in the Los Angeles area, one longtime resident, singer and actor is calling attention to the leaders' “blame game” and the victims who have lost the most.
“We have, quite frankly, the worst governor in the history of California, probably in the entire United States. And we have an inept mayor and we have incompetence everywhere,” Frank Stallone saidFOX Business Live“Monday.
“Obviously we can't control the wind and stuff, but I believe there's a lot of arson. I think it's environmental terrorism,” he continued.
“Just because it happens to the wealthy elite, it's front page news. If it was just Altadena and not the Palisades or Hollywood, you'd hear a little bit about it. And that's the tragic part of the whole thing. These poor people are done.”
They had been there since early Monday three active fires in the Los Angeles area, the death toll rose to 24. Strong Santa Ana winds are also expected to return this week, which could fuel wildfire growth.

Governor Gavin Newsom did two media appearances over the weekend, declaring that Southern California's state water reservoirs are “absolutely full,” and deflected any blame by saying, “Let's get the facts and let's get them out quickly. . . . Let's stop pointing fingers.” Let's just judge the truth. I don't care who's to blame, I want to know what happened.”
Altadena, Calif. resident Bryan Hitchcock details residents' concerns about an alleged lack of water to fight the devastating fires.
Stallone went on to criticize Newsom for wanting the state to “resist Trump” when leaders should be focusing more on the Golden State's firepower.
“Trump said four years ago that we have to clean up that brush,” he pointed out. “But I mean, again, everybody's passing the buck. And all these people, probably 94% of them, were vilifying me because I went on Fox. [online] for four years when I stated my case. It probably ruined my career, whatever was left of it.”

“But now they're all like rah, rah! But they were all left-wing blues who voted these people into office. And now that their homes have burned down, forget about the poor people now in Altadena, they've got nothing… They probably don't have insurance, they probably don't a lot of money, so they're wiped out.”
