“Engaged 1/3/25. ❤️💍♾️,” the 54-year-old wrote via Burton Instagram on Saturday, Jan. 4, along with a slideshow of sweet photos from the couple's engagement. A snap captured the moment Burton got down on one knee and popped the question.
Burton's caption continued: “Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “not to harm you, but to give you hope and a future.”
Well-wishers flooded the comments section to congratulate the happy couple, including Burton General Hospital costars.

Burton was previously married Sheree GustiThey have three children from 1999 to 2022: daughters Makena and Brooklyn and son Jack.
Burton's last marriage hit the headlines in May 2022 when it was revealed Gustin, 46, had split after 23 years of marriage and was expecting a baby with another man. (The couple legally separated in March of that year.)

As for Burton, the soap opera star confirmed her and Lundstrom's relationship for Daily Drama in May 2024, but the couple only agreed until the following months red carpet debut At the Daytime Emmy Awards last June.
“Our first red carpet together. It was a dream night from start to finish,” Lundstrom wrote on Instagram in June of a night out with her partner. “Thank you for all the beautiful, kind comments and messages. I'm truly grateful ❤️🙏🏼.”
Then, Burton's General Hospital costar Kirsten Storms commented, “You're so cute together, it's almost hard to look at this photo. 🥰 ❤️.”
