Harry Darling: Swansea City defender's contract talks set to be put to sleep

Former Cambridge United player Darling has signed a three-year contract when he joins Swansea from MK Dons in 2022.

He has started every league game this season alongside Cabango in Williams' back four.

Kavango could miss Saturday's game against West Bromwich Albion after finishing late. Portsmouth defeat, Nelson Abbey is no longer available after Williams confirmed his season-long spell at Olympiakos ended prematurely.

Abbey left Swansea after making just one League Cup appearance since joining in August.

“He had a really hard time, through no fault of his own, getting minutes to match Harry and Ben’s level,” Williams said.

“He’s a really great guy and he’s going to play great for someone now. We’d like to thank him for working so hard with us.”
