Before, if someone sent me a picture and I saved it, the picture would be placed in the next step -next -based on when the picture was taken -with all my other pictures default. So if a family member has sent me a picture since last day and I have saved it, the picture will disappear into a sea of other pictures.
I would like to scroll along the way -photos and videos to find it, and sometimes I'll give up. But I saw a toggle in the pictures called Subject -Sort by recently —the only added added It lets you sort your photos based on when they are saved on your device, not when they are taken.
Here's how to classify your photos when they are saved in pictures so you don't lose a picture again.
How to classify your photos based on when they have been saved
1. Open Pictures.
2. Scroll up on your photos until the grid takes your entire screen.
3. Tap up and down the arrows in the left corner of your screen.
4. Tap Subject -Sort by recently —the only added added.
Once you've tapped that option, you can see your photos move to adjust to the setting change. Your latest photo saved or taken is under the grid, even though your latest -saving photo is from your wedding years ago.
