Hosts the “Boys Busin'” podcast Will Compton and Taylor Lewan are in the middle of negotiating a new contract with a media company, which could hurt their chances of winning. The surviving Barstool In season 4, it also raised questions about the future of former NFL stars at Barstool.

Who Are The Boys 'Bussin' With The Hosts?
A former NFL linebacker, Compton signed with the Washington Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He joined the Tennessee Titans in 2018 before signing with the New Orleans Saints and then the Las Vegas Raiders in 2019. He returned to the Titans for a second time in 2020 before returning to the Raiders at the end of 2021. Compton by September 2023 announced his retirement from professional football.
Levan, meanwhile, was drafted as a tackle for the Titans in 2014 and stayed with the organization for his career, which ended in 2023 after suffering a knee injury during the 2022 season.

“Actually, [Barstool said] we'll go 50/50, you get the IP. We said no, but we'll go 60/40 and the minute we hit $1 million, it'll go up to 70/30 [in] it is our grace”, explained the former athlete. “They were with him, and then I was like, 'F—, I think we played ourselves.'

“During filming [Surviving Barstool] I thought we were going to resign them, but when they came in, I knew they appreciated it,” said the Barstool Sports founder. “They had a proposition. They were like, 'We're going to look at the world, see what's going on.'”
Portnoy refused to give one of them $250,000 from a game win and leave the company. When asked on the same podcast episode if Compton and Lewan had left the company, Portnoy played coy. “I'm going to let them run it how they want to run it,” he said.
