Hosts the “Boys Busin'” podcast Will Compton and Taylor Lewan are in the middle of negotiating a new contract with a media company, which could hurt their chances of winning. The surviving Barstool In season 4, it also raised questions about the future of former NFL stars at Barstool.

A former NFL linebacker, Compton signed with the Washington Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He joined the Tennessee Titans in 2018 before signing with the New Orleans Saints and then the Las Vegas Raiders in 2019. He returned to the Titans for a second time in 2020 before returning to the Raiders at the end of 2021. Compton by September 2023 announced his retirement from professional football.
Levan, meanwhile, was drafted as a tackle for the Titans in 2014 and stayed with the organization for his career, which ended in 2023 after suffering a knee injury during the 2022 season.

Their “second deal” with the company was considered a “competitive bid,” meaning they couldn't get their own shows. Compton said he and Levan have since forged a “beneficial” partnership with Barstool.
“Personally, I wanted to resign with Barstool. I think they're the best brand for us right now,” Compton said. “We settle on $3 million a year. We have an advantage, every dollar is earned after 3 million dollars.
