“I don't know, they often recognize me on holidays. I don't put myself in the celebrity category, because they actually know me,” 37-year-old Middleton shared during an interview with a UK reporter. Sunday Times Posted on Sunday, December 29th. “However, people sometimes contact me on social networks and say that they saw me with dogs.”
Middleton and his wife, Alizee Thevenet, share a 15-month-old son, Inigo, but they also parents of six dogs: Mabel, Nala, Zulu, Inka, Isla and Luna.
“I think they know the dogs first, to be honest,” Middleton said of going out in public with her pups. “They know them better than I do.”

In her memoir, Middleton spoke candidly about her relationship with animals. Meet Ella: The Dog That Saved My Lifereleased last September. In the book, Middleton revealed that she was instrumental in saving the life of her late spaniel, Ella (who died in January 2023). especially during a dark period In 2017.
“Life is no longer worth living,” Middleton wrote in his book. “I feel suicidal. I'm thinking of ways to die so I can get off the dizzying roller coaster that drives me crazy.”
The author recalled that Ella felt a “strange, agitated state of mind” one night, especially when she was on the roof of her house.
“Dark thoughts are concentrating on me. What can I do to stop them? I'm thinking about jumping off the roof,” he wrote. “As I progress I look down through the skylight and see the gentle eyes of my spaniel, Ella, looking up at me. Like me, he stayed up all night.”
Throughout the book, Middleton recalled how Ella had specifically helped him over the years.
“Since he was a tiny, sightless, newborn puppy, I have loved him with every ounce of my being,” she said. “He was my companion, my hope, my support in my darkest days.”
Their close bond has allowed Middleton to open her heart to many dogs — which currently ends up with six dogs.
“Dogs love car travel – and there are more and more wonderful dog-friendly hotels in England where you feel the dogs are better looked after than you are,” Middleton said in an interview on Sunday. “The dogs get their own menus and beds and everything. It is great to open hotels that include the whole family; both four-legged friends and two-legged friends.
