Jennifer Garner became emotional when he revealed that he had lost a friend from church Los Angeles wildfires.

The 52-year-old actress drowned he said MSNBC On Friday, January 10, one of his friends passed away forest fires Desolate parts of Los Angeles including the Pacific Palisades area, Malibu, Santa Monica and the Hollywood Hills.

“I lost a friend and it's really sweet for our church, so I don't think we need to talk about it yet,” Garner said. “I lost a friend. He did not come out in time.”

“My heart bleeds for my friends,” Garner said. “I mean, I can think of 100 families and 5,000 homes lost. I can do – even without [thinking] “I could write a list of 100 friends who lost their homes.”

She added: “I almost feel guilty walking around my house. You know what I can do? How can I help? What can I suggest? What do I have to offer with these hands and these walls and the security I have?”

Garner rolls up his sleeves to help out during a wildfire, volunteering at one of the fires. Chef José Andrés' World Center Kitchen pop-ups in Los Angeles County. These were created to help feed evacuees who were forced to leave their homes due to the fires.

“I've lived in and around the Palisades for 25 years, so I think we all want to lend a hand to help somehow,” Garner said. “And because I work with Save the Children, we have a relationship with the chef, and I was just able to say, 'Can I be with you one day?' What can I do to help? Put me to work''.

A series of wind-driven wildfires quickly caused massive destruction in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 7. Many residents have fled the city limits under mandatory or voluntary evacuation orders, and thousands are estimated to have lost their homes.
