Michael Wilbon ripped ESPN for their greed for the College Football Playoff.

Michael Wilbon even took shots at his employers, claiming the expanded College Football Playoff was problematic and was taking money from everyone involved, including ESPN.

The 'Pardon the Interruption' co-host believes expanding the format from four to 12 teams this year went too far.

“We will not go from 12 to 8 (teams) because this is a greedy play,” Wilbon told PTI on Friday. “It’s a money game for everyone involved, including this network.”

Wilbon and co-host Tony Kornheiser had no problem with the four semifinalists still left in the tournament (Notre Dame State, Ohio State, Penn State, and Texas), but Wilbon had no issues with teams that received first-round byes, such as Oregon State and Georgia State. Kornheiser's anger was directed at ESPN announcers and pundits. He claimed that ESPN announcers and pundits were biased against the SEC.
