Monday Night Football: Teddy Bridgewater is the Lions' emergency third quarterback.

Teddy Bridgewater signed with the Lions after coming out of retirement last week.

Bridgewater, 32, served as the Lions' backup quarterback last season behind starter Jared Goff. This season, Hendon Hooker took over that role.

Bridgewater will serve as the team's emergency third quarterback on Monday Night Football. He is one of the Lions' inactive members.

Detroit's other inactive players include running back David Montgomery (knee), offensive guard Kayode Awosika, offensive lineman Colby Sorsdal, offensive lineman Giovanni Manu, defensive lineman Brodric Martin and defensive lineman Jonah Williams.

Inactive players for the 49ers include Israel Abanikanda, quarterback Brandon Allen, defensive end Robert Beal (ankle), offensive guard Spencer Burford (calf), defensive lineman Khalil Davis, linebacker Dre Greenlaw (calf) and corner One hundred Charvarius Ward (individual). Allen will assume an emergency third quarterback role.
