Hint for the puzzle today
The theme of today's strands is: For starters.
If you can't help you, here's a sign: we're fancy, like Applebee on a date of night.
Clue words to unlock in-game hints
Your goal is to find hidden words that fit the puzzle theme. If you are stuck, find any words you can. Whenever you find three words of four letters or more, the strands will reveal one of the theme words. These are the words I used to get those clues, but any words of the four or more letters you find will work:
- Chap, cope, scan, dowry, dotes, tile, slam, slide, size, sizer, apple, wine.
Answers for Puzzle now
These are the answers tied to the theme. The purpose of the puzzle is to find everything, including the spangram, a theme that extends from one side of the puzzle to the other. Once you've got everything (I thought it was always eight but learned that the number could vary), each letter on the board will be used. Here are Nonspangram's answers:
- Wings, fondue, nachos, poppers, sliders, calamari
