The PGA tour made a statement on Thursday President Donald Trump To interfere in the tour round to mediate a commercial agreement with Lev Golf and the General Investment Fund in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (PIF).
“We have asked the president to participate for the interest of the game, the country of the country and all the countries concerned,” a statement from PGA tour Commissioner Jay Monohan and director of Tiger Woods said. “We are grateful because his leadership has approached the final deal, which paves the way for men's professional golf.”
After its launch in 2022, Lev acquired many of the golf players with huge salaries, including John Ram, Prison Dahambo, Brooks Coybek, Ian Bolter and Sergio Garcia.
In June of that year, PGA suspended 17 players who pledged to play with LIV and promised the future comment of anyone who participated in the LIV events.

In June 2023, the PGA and DP World Tour, which is based in Europe, announced the existence of a “framework agreement” to integrate with PIF and LIV. But the agreement was never achieved because the deadline for completing this deal passed at the end of that year.
More than a year has passed since then, but Trump's intervention now may bring this deal to the fruits.

Golf star Rorre McLeroi said in November he believed that Trump is president for the second time could help “remove the road” of an agreement between PGA and LIV.
