Called Poe appsThis feature gives POE users to describe the app they want to create in the new app creator's tool. Descriptions may include mentioning specific models they want to use the app – e.g. Openai's O3-minio Google's video developing I see 2 – or wider, more general specs.
The app creator, reinforced by the recent -only released by Anthropic Claude 3.7 sonnetTranslates the code for the app interface with the custom logic expressed in JavaScript. POE apps can run side by side in Poe's Chatbot window or become completely visual, and their underlying code is exposed for manual repairs and repair properly.
Quora has created some examples of apps, including an app that changes 3D -style art pictures using Openai's GPT-4O and Black Forest Labs'Flux-pro-1.1. Another example of the app removes unwanted objects from images, which use Bria's Bria-Eraser model.
POE apps can be shared with other POE users, on the web only for now (iOS and Android support is on the way, says Quora). Each time an app uses an AI model, it gets from a user's point balance with Poe. Free users receive a day -to -day point, while users subscribe to $ 9.99 per month Tier premium gets flexible day -day or monthly point packages.
“This is an early launch and we have a long roadmap in advance to give more power to the creators, including the ability to earn money directly from their apps,” the company wrote. “We are excited to see what you all created. And we are excited to see how much better we can make POE apps as the models continue to cure the code writing this year.”
Poe Apps, which expands to Web apps feature Poe launched in July. While apps that can produce these types of tools are rather limited, they certainly show how far the models are programming capabilities.
