Congress will vote this week on a continuous decision to finance the government. The government ran out of money on Friday. Continuous decisions are not the ideal way to finance government. This continuous decision, however, will allow President Donald Trump To continue to implement his popular agenda.
The end of Washington's shed spending is a major part of the Trump agenda. Three out of four Americans support “widespread efforts to find fraud and waste in the government.”
For Americans, federal spending and waste elimination is proper instinct. For Democrats, it is a crisis. As the deadline for government financing approaches, Democrats in Congress threaten the closure of the government.
Senator Korea Booker from New Jersey, a member of the Democratic Leadership of the Senate, pledged to “use every possible tool” to stop President Trump.
Senator Andi Kim from New Jersey said that the Democrats would close the government “if we have to do so.” Democratic Senator Jeff Mercli of Oregon said it was open to the government. A Democrat in the House of Representatives spoke about the refusal to give “an empty check” to President Trump.
