At least two people died and hundreds of their homes sat while forest fires in South Korea were on Saturday.
Two dead firefighters were found in Sanchyung County in the southeast of the country, according to Yonhap News Agency, citing local officials.
The loss of two others has been reported as multiple fires were caught throughout the country, according to Korea's forest service.
A state of national disaster was announced at 18:00 local time (09:00 GMT), which covers ULSAN City and North and South Gyeongsang provinces in the southeast.
More than 200 people were ordered to leave their homes in eight villages due to the deadly fire in Sanchyong Province in South Jeongange.
The Chargé d'Affaires of Choi Sang Mock urged all efforts to extinguish the fire from sunset, but the strong winds hindered efforts in the scene, about 250 km (155 miles) southeast of Seoul.
Elsewhere, more than 400 residents were displaced due to the wildfire in the Osseung County in North Jeongange Province.
The Forest Authority issued a dangerous fire warning in 12 sites, including Busan and the Central Daijun.
