Stephen Curry added to his 3-point shooting lore on Thursday night, making all eight of his attempts for the first time in his career as the Golden State Warriors beat the Philadelphia 76ers 139-105 in the NBA.
Curry recorded 30 points and 10 assists, becoming the first player in NBA history to go 8-for-8 on 3-pointers and record double-digit assists.

Curry, who had gone just 7 of 24 from long range in the previous two games, matched his career high by going 6-for-6 through the third quarter and adding two more early in the final period without missing a point.

Curry had connected on all six 3-pointers in the previous two games, including against the Los Angeles Lakers last April.
The NBA record of 9-for-9 was originally set in 2003 by former Warriors and New York Knicks player Latrell Sprewell. We ended up matching three times. It was recorded by Ben Gordon in 2006 and 2012, and by Jalen Brunson in 2012. 2023.

Jonathan Kuminga had 20 points off the bench and Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Dennis Schroder each had 15 points for the Warriors. The Warriors took advantage of a Philadelphia team getting a quick jump on their second of the night on the road. En route to a landslide victory.
Moses Moody went 4-for-5 on 3-pointers and Schroder went 3-of-4 from long range to help the Warriors hit 22 treys on 39 attempts (56.4%).
Joel Embiid, whose four-game winning streak ended with a 113-107 loss at Sacramento on Wednesday, paced the 76ers with 28 points and 14 rebounds.
On Wednesday, the Kings scored the final 15 points to beat them, while the 76ers were initially outscored 13-4 by the Warriors. Schroder hit a pair of 3-pointers and Curry hit his first 3-pointer during the burst.
Golden State cruised into the final three quarters with an 18-point lead before the end, winning for the fifth time in the last 18 games.
Moody added 12 points and Lindy Waters III had 10 for the Warriors. Green also had six rebounds, seven assists and three blocks.
Paul George backed Embiid with 19 points for the 76ers, who were playing their fifth straight road game. Tyrese Maxey had 14 points, six assists, four steals and two blocks, Guerschon Yabusele added 13 points and Ricky Council IV added 12 points. –Field level media
