Tech execs push Trump to build 'freedom cities' managed by corporations

A billions of push support to produce libertarian enclaves in Central America has been imported back to the United States, where proponents want to lay the basis for their own private running, governed by cities.

A new lobbying group, called Coalition Cities Coalitionwant to convince President Trump and Congress to allow the creation of new special development zones within the US These zones will allow wealthy investors to write their own laws and set up their own management structures which will control and not involve a traditional bureaucracy. New zones can also serve as a testbed for weird new technologies without the need for government administration.

Wired recently —the only reported That the coalition is forming a law in Congress that will allow the establishment of a network of new “cities.” One of the chief motivations for creating these communities is to make new “scientific” and technology development initiatives be carried out without the need for regulatory administration. The outlet writes:

According to interviews and performances viewed by wired, the purpose of these cities is to have areas where clinical anti-election tests, nuclear reactors startups, and building construction can continue without having to obtain initial approval from agencies such as Food and Drug Administration, the nuclear regulatory commission, and the environmental protection agency.

Freedom Cities Coalition is a Neway Capital project, a company involved in the middle The Development of the ProsperaA private, “free market,” crypto-friendly enclave in Honduras. Prospera made it possible through a special regulatory setup, called a special economic (or ZEDE) zone, established in the country in 2013 at the end of a US-supported coup. Zedes allows for private actors that it is important to move to areas divided into geography and write their own regulatory and judicial policies.

Prospera is also part of something called “Network state“An anarcho-capitalist ideology movement, supported by tech-billionaires, aimed at creating privately operating cities with native cryptocurrencies.

Wired reports about coalition coalitions of the Freedom Cities Coalition to encourage President Trump and Congress to enshrine their project on federal law. Currently, lobbyists are pursuing many different approaches to obtain some kind of law that allows the development of cities in books:

Trey Goff, the head of the Startup Country Staff known as Próspera, tells Wired that he and other Próspera representatives working under a group of advocacy called Freedom Cities Coalition are meeting with the Trump administration about the idea in recent weeks. He claims that the administration has become very attractive.

In Its websiteThe Freedom Coalition claims that while “other countries create new centers of change, American environment regulation prevents development.” Site continues:

“Independence cities are America's courageous solution to bring out the full potential of our country. By creating zones of clarity of regulation and economic dynamism, these specially designated areas have moved away for decades of bureaucratic buildup while maintaining important protection, allowing traders and builders to move at the speed of human talent rather than the pace.”

Where to build new “freedoms in America? It seems possible that network staters want to build them in our national parks. On its website, Freedom City Coalition records 28 percent of US land is” federal -owned and ready for modern development. “It does not specify what kind of federal land is” ready “for” change, ” Farming and energy are used for the care of wildlife.

It is also noteworthy that, in a video released during the President's campaign, Trump openly spoke about the use of protected federal lands to produce “Cities of Independence.” “The past generations of Americans have pursued big dreams and daring projects that sometimes seem impossible,” Trump said in the video. “They pushed a nonsense continent and built new cities on the wild border.”

Trump then called the use of protected federal lands to produce ten new metropolises in the city. These developments, he said, are “reopening the border, reigning American imagination, and hundreds of thousands of young people and other people will give a new shooting home ownership and, in fact, American dream.”
