The government in Tabasco said that at least 41 people died in an accident that included a bus in southern Mexico.
The photos show that the bus is completely burned after the fire was overwhelmed after the collision that occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning near the small city of Escárcega.
ACOSTA from the bus operator tour said 48 passengers were on board the car – which was traveling from Cancun to Tabasco – when she collided with a “trailer”.
Acosta added from Tour that he was “very sorry for what happened” and said it was working with the authorities to find out the reason, adding that the bus was walking within the limits of speed.
“The General Ministry informed us that the investigation will be in effect in the office of the prosecutor of the municipality of Canderaia, Campeche, and for this reason, the relatives of our passengers and friends will have to go to this section to perform relevant measures,” said the ACOSTA tour on Facebook.
The government state in Tabasco said the recovery work is continuing – including efforts to determine the killing.
The Minister of Tabasco government, Ramiro Lopez, said the authorities would make update with details of the number of victims and their identities later on Saturday.
The local council in the municipal municipal, de Kumlku, said it would support the transfer of the bodies of the victims in the passenger bus accident.
