“Ghani Mandez runs day care from an apartment on the basement in Bronx, where large quantities of deadly fentanels have been mixed, packaged and stored,” Matthew Podolski, the Acting U.S. lawyer in the southern region of New York, said in a statement.
“I put children who are not more than eight months old on the way to harm while sleeping, playing, and ate in a room that was hidden more than 11 kilograms of fentanel under their feet, which led to the death of one child and the poisoning of others.”
