“Some authoritarian regimes have been stolen and used artificial intelligence to enhance their capabilities and military monitoring, capture foreign data and create propaganda to undermine national security for other countries,” Vans said in a speech at the Amnesty International Summit in France in Paris.

“I want to be clear, this administration will prohibit such efforts and complete stopping,” Vans added. “We will protect the technologies of AIMANT AI and Chip from theft and abuse, and work with our allies and partners to enhance this protection and expand its scope to the opponents who get AI's capabilities that threaten all our people.”
