President Donald Trump said his administration “just starting” in his first joint address for the congress of his second term of office when he offered his domestic and international successes and criticized Democrats.
The speech, shown in a tangible chamber, in which several democrats held signs of protest, limits the dramatic several months in which Trump released an aggressive agenda to transform US trade and foreign policy.
It comes on the day Trump deposited 25 % of Canada and Mexico tariffs, the largest US business partners, as well as another 10 % of China benefits.
All three countries have indicated that they are planning retaliation and send US stocks on Tuesday.
During his address Trump he prevented his tariffs and government expenditures and claimed to have inherited an “economic disaster” from the Democrats.
He added that he ended the “weapon” and pointed to criminal cases that were filed against him during Biden's administration.
Trump's notes to Ukraine and Russia will be among the most watched nights, they come to the heels of his move Cut off military assistance to Kiev and last week quarrels of large oval offices with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelskyyy.
