Before the end of its initial period, Andor is considered one of the best Star Wars projects in a while, and added a few varieties including political and spy thriller focus, and only by Seriously self. At the end of the show soon, creator Tony Gilroy Looking forward to its greatest impact inspires the franchise to continue to change.
Speaking to GamesradarGilroy tempted the second season would “break the new ground and open some canonical objects and concepts” in such a way that future creators “excited to do other things.” What's on his mind? To him, Andor may (and should) give way to “a [Star Wars] Three-camera sitcom, or a scary movie. “He thinks the franchise needs a few spices, because he also remembers the first thing he told Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy when he reached him:” I think I said, 'Can you do a drama in court?'
For a long time, Star Wars The stories centered on Jedi, Clones, and Mandalorians (or all three) are mainly created. Andor's The first season was nothing and focused on other unexplained aspects of the universe – Bureaucracy, the logistics of heists and prison facilities, kicking fascists and hitting them bricks – and becoming a critical darling, something of their trailers. Outside Gilroy's own show, Skeleton crew is another great example of what he is talking about, as it focuses on the child and more than a adventure story. “We made our line, and we worked hard to do it. It's up to other people today to find a different way to do it.”
Andor's The last season begins April 22 at Disney+.
