After the executive order, the Tiktok account on X published a statement with the inscription: “In accordance with our service providers, Tiktok is in the service recovery process.”

“We thank President Trump for giving our services providers the necessary clarity and certainty that they will not face any sanctions that Tiktok provides more than 170 million Americans and allow more than 7 million small businesses,” the statement said. “It is a strong position for the first amendment and against arbitrary censorship. We will cooperate with President Trump on a long -term solution that keeps Tiktok in the United States.”
It is still not clear who will own an app after Trump organizes conversations with China.
