American Energy Minister Chright on the removal of the Dei initiative from the agency, Russian and Iranian threats for oil prices and the timeline to release home energy.
US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright announced that the Ministry removes the requirements of diversity, capital and inclusion (DEI) because the agency is trying to streamline the process of offers and designs from American developers.
“We have released, you know, a kind of application for offer and proposals from developers in the United States for small modular reactors. Nuclear Renaissance has been talking for a long time, but it has not yet been. We want to happen,” Wright said exclusively on “Morning with Mary” Wednesday.
“One of the things we have made of the previous design was to remove the language dei. Nuclear energy is about power in your homes and your companies and hospitals. It is not a skin or skin or sex color, it is energy,” the secretary continued. “So we just bring common sense and want to go nuclear energy.”
