Ubisoft It announced on Thursday that it is creating a new subsidiary of games with the Chinese technology giant Tinetnet Investing 1.16 billion euros ($ 1.25 billion) in the unit.
The subsidiary will focus on the most famous game brands in UBISOFT, including Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and Tom Clance's Rainbow Six, according to the company.
Ubisoft said in a press release Thursday.
The company added: “With the support of a greater investment and creative capacity column, it will lead to an increase in the quality of individual narrative experiences, the expansion of multiple players with an increase in the frequency of content launch, the provision of free touch points for operation, and the merge of more social features.”
Ubisoft said that the investment from Tencen is estimated at 4 billion euros, which means a multiplier 4X based on its average sales from 2023 to 2025.
