Apple Intelligence will go to Vision Pro, as part of an upcoming operating system update. Apple on Friday confirmed that the Generative AI platform will come to the extended headset of reality as part of Visionos 2.4. A beta version of the software is currently available for developers. The public version is set for an April release
Like the iPhone and Mac before this, Vision Pro will receive Apple Intelligence updates on the waves. The first set includes some familiar offerings, which focus primarily on the development of text and images. The company sees the addition of features such as rewriting, proofread, and summarizing as key ingredients for workflow flow.
It is worth noting that Apple has been a vision pro -framing pro as a “spatial computing” device ever since. All of the above features have previously been roll out of iOS, Macos, and iPados. There are no new features of Apple Intelligence that are definitely on Vision Pro to come to this update.
In conjunction with Visionos 2.4, Apple also launched a Vision Pro iPhone app that came with iOS 18.4, which is now in beta. The app serves a few different goals. Most important is the ability to browse the content of visionos such as TV and film shows, which can be moved to the headset. This feature appears that, in part, a response to the limits of wearing a headset, both in terms of personal comfort and battery life. If you are scrolling through the content, you can also do this from the comfort of your iPhone.
When an iPhone is locked and inside the headset, the new app can also be used to manage guest accounts. Vision Pro will motivate its owner when a person attempts to sign in as a guest. A streaming image of the guest's in-headset view is accessible through the new app, as well.
