On the same day, the family court in Mumbai issued her divorce with cricket Yuzvendra Chahal, choreographer and influencer Dhanashree Verma released a distinctive new music video called Dekha Ji Dekha Maine. A song that contains Verma as a woman betrayed by her husband is exploring the topics of domestic violence and infidelity.
The composition, which was supported by the T-Rake Bhushan Kumar, sings Jyoti Nooran and composed Jaani, who also wrote the lyrics. The lines cut deep: “Dekha Ji Dekha Maine, Apno Ka Ron Dekha. Gairon to Bistar PE, Apno Ka Son Dekha.” (I saw my own people crying. I saw my bed sharing with others.)
Video, deployed in Rajasthan, is Verma next to the actor Pataal Lok Ishwak Singh. They depict a royal couple with scenes that depict abuse of marriage, including a slap supplied by a husband in front of others, and infidelity that is displayed without restrictions.

In her statement, Verma described the project as one of her most emotionally demanding roles: “This was one of the most emotionally charged performances I was part of … required a certain level of intensity … I hope it resonates as deeply with the audience.”
The release of the video coincided with the completion of Verm's divorce with Chhal, who was married since December 2020. As part of the settlement, the cricket agreed to pay the crore 4.75 GBP for maintenance.
