It is scheduled to arrive in theaters only on June 27, the film is led by Gerard Johnstone and features the return of cast members Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Brian Jordan Alvarez and Jen Van EPPs, along with newcomers Ivanna Sakhno (Pacific Rim: Uprising) as Amelia.
It was two years after the original M3gan doll went with a deadly prevention (including That is Following the wild dance) and eventually destroyed. Since then, its designer Gemma has become a set and voice for a stronger AI administration, while Gemma's nephew Cady (whose M3gan 1.0 has sworn to protect) is a teenager today.
Meanwhile, M3gan's AI tech was stolen by a defense contractor to build super robot solidier Amelia. However, the experiment awakened and Amelia was looking for a revenge against the AI creators, especially Gemma and Cady. Despite the misconceptions (most of the fact that M3gan tried to kill him), Gemma decided to revive the OG doll to fight Amelia, and also add updates to make it faster, stronger and, well, higher.
That sets a showdown between M3gan and Amelia, complete with firearms, a version of M3gan's teletubby, catchphrases ("Hold your vagina") and the aforementioned winging of the wing. It has a strong shade of Terminator 2 With the original robot doll that protects a main character from a new -upgrade model. That was married to an aesthetic of the camp, lots of blood and even a scary use of Britney Spears' Oops i did it again.
